ATOP only uses organic biodegradable cork harvested from 20 years tress in Portugal
No tree is cut down for the harvest of cork. Every 9 to 12 years, the harvesting process is repeated- as this is the average time the tree takes to regenerate its bark.
Each tree can produce cork for more tan 150 years!
Once the cork is collected, it’s taken to our insoles factory where it becomes the essential element of the manufacturing process. With the help of its natural antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, we’re able to keep any germs or bacteria away with ease.
